RESOLUTION ON THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR TEACHING CENTERS
Whereas, the long range goal of Administrative Memorandum #338 is to give recognition to the primary importance of teaching across the University system, and
Whereas, the Board of Governors has acknowledged its desire to encourage and support teaching excellence and to improve teaching effectiveness through the establishment of strengthening of teaching centers throughout the University system,
Therefore, Be It Resolved that in keeping with the intent of Administrative Memorandum #338, the Faculty Assembly recommends that President Spangler urge the Board of Governors to place high priority in this current budget cycle on securing the additional necessary funding for these teaching centers.
